As of Sept. 2016, I've been a PHP web developper for 7 years having worked on maintenance & enhancement of a 14+ years-old business-specific web portal, www.edari.fr, and a full re-work of it, prace-peer-review.cines.fr, for which I've been project leader for 3 years, along with a third port of it, deci-peer-review.cines.fr, which was written nearly from scratch using the Symfony 2 PHP fullstack framework.
Still to this day I have a fondness for the low-level inner workings of Linux – years before that it was Windows/DOS with C or x86 assembly language with some C++ & OpenGL rendering – and it just happens in spite of myself that I wander through lines of codes while RTFM in the soft shade of grey-on-black terminals as the sun sets.
