Studied Philosophy and Catholic Theology at Technical University of Dresden & Università di Bologna; was trained as a journalist at ifp in Munich. Worked for the Youth Press Germany. Freelance journalist for Spiegel Online, FAZ and the Goethe-Institut. Co-founder of the TONIC Magazine.

Currently based in Zurich.
