George Featherstone

I build websites and like to fish and play guitar and teach kids to code and bla bla bla bla...

Now that we have that out of the way, let's get down to the nitty gritty.

In 2005 I was working at a dead end call center job for one of the nations super-huge wireless retailers. Half of my shifts went on in to the wee hours of the morning leaving quite a few minutes between incoming calls.

This lead to a state of chronic boredom and discontent.

Long story short I started making hemp jewelry like I did when I was a teen, and people liked it! They liked it enough to offer me real american dollar bills in exchange for my handi-work! This was thrilling.

The odd job hours left me with 3 days off during the week so I used this time to build my first website. I signed up with Yahoo sitebuilder and paid 12 bucks a month for their hosting. I was on my way to a life of beach side internet riches...

Or so I thought in my young hopeful naive mind. Truth is, I was on the short road to serious disappointment. One year later and absolutely no sales to show for my hours upon hours of work left me disheartened to say the least.

And yet from the ashes of this fallen enterprise rose a phoenix in the form of a fiery desire, nay a NEED, to know why this happened and how to fix it. And so began the long dark lit journey to where I am today.

And here I am, an experienced Front End Wordpress Developer who works from home so I can take care of my young son, and happier than I ever thought I could be.

Go ahead and Contact me if you want to establish a working relationship. If you want to be friends... you should probably just get a puppy. Have a nice day.
