As Coordinator of Library Services for Distance Learning at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since 2008, Beth has grown and marketed Distance Learning services and instructional technolgies for the library.  She has her Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland and BA in Geography from the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering. She loves all types of libraries as she was previously a library consultant serving all types of libraries through the Colorado Library Consortium, a Map/GIS Librarian at the University of Colorado at Boulder and a middle school librarian in Howard County Maryland. She presents and publishes on various topics such as green libraries, distance learning, instructional design and  technology tools, and loves change and learning new things. Beth actually enjoys facilitating meetings, organizing events, and managing projects with team players.   Being green at heart since childhood, she has been blogging at Going Green @your library for several years & tweeting @greenyourlib. Outside of work Beth loves hiking, biking, fishing, gardening - anything outdoors!
