Filipa Almeida is a digital marketer and community manager, working in Games, TV, Film and Transmedia production since 2011. Filipa worked as a community manager and digital marketer for the award-winning transmedia production company beActive, managing beActive’s web digital properties, including emmy-nominated Beat Girl (2013), the first story ever told on Pinterest, and digital emmy-nominated Collider (2013). Filipa was also assistant director of beActive’s first transmedia documentary “Road to Revolution” (2014), as well as the producer of its interactive apps for mobile and TV.
Filipa is currently working together with cultural associations in portuguese coastal communities developing transmedia production strategies around cultural heritage stories and memories. Filipa Almeida also works as a consultant and is a sought after speaker on the topics of social media, community building and engagement, user generated content and on the development and distribution of low budget movies and transmedia properties.
