The coffeetable book Famous Minnesotans: Past and Present features 119 thumbnail biographies with lavish photos of Minnesotans that became famous.

A few of the more famous people from Minnesota include Bob Dylan, Judy Garland, Charles Lindbergh, and Prince.

Others who lived there and worked there include Gordon Parks and August Wilson.

Several businesss got their start in Minnesota, such as Target Corporation,

Carlson Companies, and 3M.

I worked on the book for ten years and enjoy sharing many of the interesting lives and stories with people.

There will be a revised and updated version available in 2016.

Social Media has provided me with a wonderful outlet for sharing interesting information regarding film and music, business, and world events.

My background includes working at the Chicago Board of Trade and the World Trade Center in New York City. I've also worked in international trade for William L. Griffin & Co., an import/export/ customs brokerage-third party logistics-freight forwarder.

I attended St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, graduating in 1978.

After this I attended Inver Hills Community College, Evansville University, and the University of St. Thomas.

My parents are Terry and Kathy Flynn and I have five younger brothers and two sisters. A younger brother, Vince Flynn, passed away on June 19th, 2013 from cancer. He authored 14 New York Times bestsellers and was instrumental in getting my book Famous Minnesotans publlished by Nodin Press.
