Italian writer and appreciaterd literary translator for Italian leading publishing houses. She is the official Italian translator of Indian writer Anita Nair, art critic and expert. She's taught Italian at University College Cork and lived in Oxford and London in the Seventies, where she taught courses on Italian Art at the Italian Institute of Culture and worked at the Courtauld Insitute. After that period she started researching on Irish Folklore. She received the prestigious Teramo Award for a short story in Italian in 2012.
