Frances Dyke

Experienced higher education executive Frances Dyke served the University of Oregon as chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration for over six years. In this capacity, her responsibilities included leading policy development, designing programs and providing expert advice as a member of the president’s cabinet of senior executives on matters related to cash management, infrastructure investments, tuition policies, risk management, fiscal accountability and other key issues. As part of her portfolio Frances Dyke oversaw several associate vice presidents and directors, who in turn managed more than 400 professionals. Before accepting this position, she worked for the University of Oregon as associate vice president for budget and finance.

Complementing her background in education, Frances Dyke has a long record of participation in her community. Currently she is a member of the Portland City Club where she serves on the Property Tax Reform Advocacy and Property Tax Research Committees. She also affiliates with the Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she chairs the Building Priorities Task Force. She maintains a strong commitment to voting rights and to community health and welfare issues through work in other organizations.

In her private life, Dyke enjoys outdoor activities like cross-country skiing and hiking. An avid traveler, she has visited multiple destinations in the United States and abroad.
