Frances Julia Riemer

I’m an educational anthropologist, feminist, and traveler extraordinaire. I have worked and traveled in the US, Europe, East and Southern Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America alone, as part of a team, a couple, a nuclear, and an extended family.
My ethnographic research focuses on change and issues of equity and access, gender, development and sustainable communities, and cultural difference and the social organization of community, school, and workplace.
