Frances Sweitzer

A trained artist, Frances Sweitzer possesses a keen interest in the use of color that she has developed into a number of personal and professional ventures. Sweitzer has explored the creative use of color in areas as diverse as retail cosmetics, art, and interior design and decorating.

Frances Sweitzer began her formal training at Palm Beach Community College and Florida Community College, and she ultimately earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of North Florida in 1993. While an undergraduate, Sweitzer was a member of the St. Augustine Art Association; she earned the honor of Best in Show at the St. Augustine College Show and placed in the Oil, Acrylic and Collage Show.

Frances Sweitzer's creativity and artistic talent led her to build a career in high-end cosmetics. She began as an account executive with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in 1994. In 1997, she was honored by the firm's parent company, Estee Lauder, as the Account Coordinator of the Year in South Florida. She further developed her talents by working in retail cosmetics at Saks Fifth Avenue, eventually becoming the regional sales manager for L'Oreal. While working on one of the firm's luxury brands, Kiehl's, Sweitzer oversaw retail and wholesale accounts for the southeast region of the United States.

Combining her love of travel with her continued exploration of the art world, Frances Sweitzer has visited major art museums around the world. Her favorites trips include those to the Rembrandt House Museum, the Rijksmuseum, The MOMA Matisse Retrospective, and the Louvre.
