A general orthopaedic surgeon by trade, Frank Bryant, MD, possesses a diverse professional background that also includes experience as an inventor and oil and gas investor. After completing a pediatric internship at the University of Oklahoma, Frank Bryant, MD, began his career as a general medical officer for the U.S. Public Health Service. He then went on to serve as an emergency medicine physician for several New Mexico hospitals, after which he completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Lutheran Hospital in Indiana. In 1996, he established his own private practice, where he continued to treat patients for the next 16 years.

Aside from his work as a surgeon, Frank Bryant, MD, has also contributed to the medical profession as an inventor. He invented and developed a device known as the X-TRAC, which increases exposure of the spine during interbody fusion. The device was sold to NuVasive Spine, one of the leading medical device manufacturing companies in the world.

Frank Bryant, MD, was educated at the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque, where he graduated with distinction and earned a bachelor of university studies. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma’s College of Medicine.
