Frank Svatousek

Over the course of his career, Frank Svatousek has amassed a number of notable accomplishments, holding positions such as General Manager of Multivision Pvt. Ltd., Sri Lanka's first cable television network, and Senior Product Manager for Bell Sympatico, Canada's largest Internet service provider. Mr. Svatousek additionally negotiated the first bank identification number sponsorship agreement with a Canadian financial institution while acting as Director of Business Development for Mint Technology Corporation. Born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, Frank Svatousek remains a valuable member of the community, working with Kerr Street Ministries to provide food and activities for underserved individuals in the area.

After earning degrees in political science and business administration from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Windsor, respectively, Frank Svatousek began his career in communications with Tee-Comm Electronics, a satellite television equipment manufacturer based out of Toronto. After securing a federal grant to further develop home satellite technology, Frank Svatousek moved to Sri Lanka to work with Multivision Pvt. Ltd. In two short years, he and his team amassed 20,000 subscribers thanks to distribution deals that brought HBO and ESPN programming to the country for the first time. Returning to Canada, Mr. Svatousek spent six months as Director of Business Development for MDUs (multiple dwelling units) at Starchoice.

At this time, Bell Sympatico brought him on board to syndicate content with the Sympatico-Lycos high-speed portal. Frank Svatousek then co-founded a pair of companies that proved instrumental in changing the landscape of payment transactions in Canada and abroad. With both Mint Technology Corporation and Carta Worldwide, he negotiated a BIN sponsorship agreement with a Canadian financial group, the first time a company was able to reach such an agreement. Mr. Svatousek continues to live in his native Ontario and enjoys attending Blue Jays baseball games. In addition, he takes advantage of every opportunity to use his season tickets for the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team.

Frank Svatousek is a believer in "Organic Capitalism" which he explains as private enterprise that doesn't exploit, defraud, kill or destroy the environment. He is also is a big supporter of strong corporate governance in his current role as Chief Compliance Officer.
