His work takes on multiple forms such as installation, performance, theatre, photography, radio, video, recordings and sound pieces.
He creates sound and visual landscapes that generate different interpretations and ambiguous emotions, with the aim to transport the audience to unknown places, and his works were listened and presented in museums, concert rooms and public spaces such as Aqui Base Tango, Casa das Caldeiras, Casa Municipal da Cultura de Cantanhede, Casino da Figueira, Galeria Santa Clara, Mercearia de Arte, Mosteiro de Santa Clara-a-Velha, Salão Brazil, Queen Anne Court (London, UK), Teatro Académico de Gil Vicente, Teatro Messias, The Hub (Dublin, IRE), and in events such as Freedom Festival, Salva-a-Terra Ecofestival, PAISAGENS NEUROLÓGICAS and [TRANS]ACTO #01.
In 2015 he released his third ambient/IDM album, fragments of emotions, that confirms the path started in his earlier works (chilled winter sunrise, 2013; gentle breeze at sunset, 2011) and which recalls more than just simple sensations or faded memories, building each theme a boldly sensual and where each note has a distinct emotional tone.
He is currently developing his artistic language with the aim to foster innovative audio-visual processes, related with real-time sound visualization and exploring site-specific sound and image relations at the PhD in Art Studies at University of Coimbra (PT).
As a researcher his creation projects relate to specific places, exploring throughout the research and creation process the intersection between art, technology, identity and space, seeking to reflect about the importance of site-specific and sense of place.
He has presented the results of his research-creation projects in several places, such as Museu da Cidade de Aveiro, Museu Nacional de Machado de Castro, Jardim Botânico de Coimbra, Colégio das Artes de Coimbra, Museu da Água de Coimbra and Museu da Pedra de Cantanhede, and at conferences and events such as DRHA 2014 (London, UK), DRHA 2015 (Dublin, IRL), Salva-a-Terra Ecofestival (Salvaterra-do-Extremo, PT), #14.ART (Aveiro, PT; Brasília, BR; Goiás, BR) and International Conference Concepts and “Dispositifs” of Creation in the Performing Arts (Coimbra, PT).
