I began my practice as a financial security advisor through my desire to help individuals with regards to personal finance & my own habits of over-planning every aspect of my life. Curious & ambitious, I strive on seeing my clients accomplish their goals & accompaniying them through all the phases of their lives. I also began writing tips and tricks on personal finance on my blog - www.planwitheric.com. My approach utilizes sound advice, common sense & building a strong foundaiton.
My research involves understanding motivations in participating in crowdsourcing / collective creativity projects. I focus on helping businesses utilize the power of collectivity to achieve their business and marketing objectives. My background in the field includes a Master's in Science of Administration. I acquired qualitative research skills through the thesis process. My research is in the process of being published.
At heart, I am an entrepreneur. After many attempts, I succesfully started Lavacar, the first mobile car-wash in Montreal. I co-founded my firm in 2010. We come directly to a client's home or workplace to get their cars cleaned. We began with car cleaning, today we offer detailing, corporate fleet washing & have our own line of car cleaning products. What a rollercoaster! I pride myself on this accomplishement. I also use this as a living-lab to apply my knowledge of business. Fun fact, although I wash cars for a living, I don't actually own one myself. Visit my website lavacar.ca
On a personal note: I'm always trying to meet new people / learn new things. I never shy away from giving my time to worthwhile causes. I teach at the John Molson School of Business for a living. My next endavors are learning computation arts / basic coding. Notice how my About Me page is a template. On a personal note, I am a coffee-loving, politio-surfing, pop-culture junkie.
