Garrett Hildebrand

Hi, I’m Garrett. I’m a happily retired Senior IT Security Analyst at the University of California, Irvine. Although I started life as a software engineer, I later moved on to network programming, which led me into campus-level Network Planning and Design, and then into campus-level Network Security. I am a fan of history, the outdoors, walking, reading, crossword puzzles and crossword meta puzzles. I’m also interested in food, wine and fashion, and incidentally, I'm also a huge Splunk fan, and am an adept at programming and using it.
