For the past three decades, Gary R. Fournier has performed executive investment management duties with firms such as Kidder Peabody & Co., UBS/Payne Webber, and Smith Barney. He currently supervises over $1 billion in client assets as a Managing Director for JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Los Angeles. Mr. Fournier has held the same position since 2006, maintaining a constant client list despite a company transition from Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. to JPMorgan Chase. After receiving his MBA in Finance, Mr. Fournier took a position with White Weld & Co., ultimately becoming a Partner and overseeing their Boston-based firm’s Century City office. His association with White Weld ended in 1978 when the firm was acquired by Merrill Lynch. Moving into a position as a Partner with Kidder Peabody & Co., Gary R. Fournier pioneered the first U.S. over-the-counter shelf registration in consultation with the founding partners of Maxicare Health Plans, Inc. and Fremont Insurance. He also managed transactions with Mullikin Medical, which has since been sold to Caremark, LLC. He also did significant work with the global telecom firm, Global Crossing. Mr. Fournier moved to Smith Barney in 1993, a career transition that was noted on the front page of the Wall Street Journal. Over the next eight years, Mr. Fournier managed a large number of high-value accounts, being referenced in a 2000 Forbes’ magazine article. Prior to taking his current position, Mr. Fournier served as the leading money manager at UBS/Payne Webber. Gary R Fournier supports a number of community organizations including Peninsula Friends of the Library, The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, and the Assistance League of San Pedro-South Bay. He served on the Board of Directors with Miller Children's Hospital and has experience coaching Pony League baseball in Compton and San Marino.
