Hello!

I'm a dad, and a game designer.

I've been designing, making games, and teaching about games since 2011.

I'm currently Lead Game Designer at 34BIGTHINGS.

I live in Torino, Italy.

TODAY

Co-founder and Lead Game Designer of 34BigThings.

We released 10 titles on all platforms worldwide.

Redout, our biggest franchise yet, won 14 awards and nominations. Other notable games we launched are Goat of Duty, and Redout Space Assault for the Apple Arcade service.

2014

In charge of structuring and teaching a 2 years track in Game Design, which was part of a larger Game Development course aimed at creating indie studios and nurturing local talent.

I have been co-teaching until 2018.

2013

Moved to Torino and co-founded 34BigThings in a living room with Valerio and Giacomo.

The company quickly scaled up to become the biggest independent game studio in Italy.

We organized the first Global Game Jam event in Torino and many other smaller events, talks, workshops and mingling, to foster the development of a local game community.

2012-2016

Game Designer and Programmer for RocketPlay, later AGS. Developer for the Paradise Slots 777 app, its HTML5 game engine, and Lucky Play Casino.

2012

I Completed my MSc in Media Technology and Games Design from the IT University of Copenhagen.

I Co-Founded Lohika APS in Copenhagen with Henrike and Niels, working as main game designer, writer, and programmer on the award-winning educational game Machineers.

2011-2013

My student projects Machineers and Blackwell’s Asylum were awarded with the Intel Level Up 2011 Game of the Year and Best Adventure/Roleplay, Independent Games Festival (IGF) 2013 Student Showcase Winner, and ACM SIGCHI 2013 Best Game for Purpose, among others.

Enrolled in the Media Technology and Games Design MSc programme at the IT University of Copenhagen.
