Genesis Baaby was born August 3, 1989 in Louisville Kentucky. He is a singer/rapper/songwriter. He gets his inspiration from his friends, and people that try to convince him that he's wasting his time is fuel to his flame as well. Genesis Baaby's favorite tag lines are: “Everything that glitters ain’t gold”, and “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. “Those are two of the realest phrases” he says he's ever heard! His motto is go hard or stay home. His greatest influence is his late grandfather because even though he was a preacher he started from nothing and he worked hard, stayed humble, and kept his faith in God, and in doing so gained everything. He didn’t do anything for the money he did everything he did because it brought peace to his heart!

He started singing in church at age 12, but started going to the studio and chasing his dream when he was 16. He hasn't had a chance to share the stage with anyone yet. He has performed at: Martin's Tavern, Horse Shoe Casino, The Warehouse, Jo’s Variety Club, JT,s Variety Club, Phoenix Hill, Club 291, Connnect Lounge, The E. Clarkson Rhame Memorial Arena, and NuRadio. He has worked in Louisville Kentucky, Florence Kentucky, Indiana, Atlanta, GA, and South Carolina. He says “He didn't choose his craft it chose him, he was blessed to be born with his gift”. People say that Genesis Baaby is “loyal, a good friend, and most of all a great person”. The people that supports him the most he says is his friends,because they always tell him to keep pushing, even when he is going through some things they always keep him motivated.
