I'm a senior research scientist working towards understanding dynamic geological processes and the evolution and detection of mineral systems. My current focus is the exploration of structural controls on landscape evolution and gold mineralization. Alongside this active research programme, I enjoy the study of science communication and public perceptions of science - especially around understanding of environmental systems. I am a strong advocate of geoscience education and public engagement in science. A popular and passionate speaker on these subjects, I have been an ambassador in the CSIRO run Scientists in Schools programme since 2010.
