Geri Coats

I am currently an Instructional Technology Coordinator at Righetti High School in Santa Maria, CA.

I am excited to work with educators at implementing best practices using technology in the classroom to increase student success.

I have taught various levels of English/Language Arts ranging from Intervention for students significantly below grade level, up to College Prep students inthe 12th grade.

As a former Department Chair I have organized and facilitated information for the largest core department on our site and work to suport the students and staff in the classrooms.

I have also worked as an Intervention Specialist on site, completing assessments, progress monitoring, placement, and organizational structures to benefit students.

I am a tech junkie! I became a Google Certified Teacher in Sydney Australia, 2011 cohort, and am a member and presenter at CUE and iSTE and hope to continue growing in this vein.
