Gibson Lowry
Gibson Lowry is an experienced educator and instructional leader with a passion to use instructional technology & innovation to improve teacher performance, increase student achievement and building lasting relationships. Gibson currently serves as an Assistant Principal for Gwinnett County Public Schools (the State of Georgia's largest school system). Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal, Gibson taught computer courses at the middle school level and served as a Department Chair of Business, Technology and Family Consumer Science beginning his high school career. He has served in the areas of curriculum & instruction, testing & assessment, student discipline and attendance. Gibson has a strong understanding of using social media as a classroom and communication resource. He recieved his Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University. He has his Educational Leadership certification from Mercer University and an Ed.S. in Instructional Design and from the University of Georgia. Gibson is a life long learner who believes "They don't care how much you know until they know how much you care".
