Based in the United Arab Emirates. Gilda has lived for 13 years in Dubai, contributed to different local companies, and had the pleasure to be involved in close company decisions that help her understand more the way people deal with businesses and how the culture is in the UAE. This has shaped her professional and personal life and helped her manage people and projects in the right way.
Gilda has also managed to rebrand and built creative teams throughout her years of experience, she is able to mentor, guide, and work with designers locally and remotely to achieve what is necessary for the brand. She collaborates with owners, and stakeholders globally and manages simultaneous projects from start to end, she has been a consultant for different brands, guiding them in the right direction to improve the brand. She has a big interest in working with brands that are meaningful. Gilda also worked as a graphic design instructor and supported creative workshops. She is client-focused and interested in allowing clients to learn more about the creative industry and solve their problems while communicating them in the right way to graphics.
Gilda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Design from Instituto Toulouse Lautrec in Lima, Peru; a Master in Spaces and Cultural Experiences from ESDESIGN: Escuela Superior de Diseno de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain; a Master's in Digital Marketing and Community Management from IEBS Digital School in Madrid, Spain. She is also interested in education and the creation of workshops related to brand design for businesses and individuals.
Gilda is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She is currently working in the Finance sector as an in-house Creative Manager, leading a team of 6 designers and mentoring other departments globally.
