I have been running for a long time...36 years!

What I love the most about running is the stress relief is gives me. Everytime I go for a run I am refreshend and centered, like I've just gotten an inner cleanse. Life can be crazy and knowing I have running to take me to my quiet, feels like something so into this world it's hard to explain. (Notice I didn't say out of this world!)

I'll say it simply... Absolutely wonderful!

In 2007 running turned a new page for me by reconnecting me to all the running I had ever done and compiling it all into one place. I developed not only a passion for discovering myself becoming confident and determined, I also felt a wave of passion to help people who are struggling with life, fitness and running. This has turned into a true love and helped me find what I've always known I've had. Compassion for people no matter how small, how slow, how awkward....

My biggest challenge was in 2013 when I trained all year and finishing off the year running a 50K November 9th, with a time that astounded me. 6hrs, 14minutes and 18 seconds. It was an extremely exciting experience and year!

I'm 50 years old and look younger than my age, I can honestly say I owe this to the way I have managed my life. I am married and have 3 kids and all my family makes me feel complete inside. Love is what whirls around me day and night because of the family I've made and also because of the family I came from.

Although having a family can present challenges in my life as well and It's hard sometimes to know when is the right time to do things when things get difficult. Going for a run even on the worst weather days is an easy way to take away what's bothering me and replacing it with thoughts that fix. Not everything can get fixed, but I've realized every moment is a new moment and goodness always comes first and eventually follows.

A sparkly clear vision to my center was shinning in my heart and so I still go forward and complete myself doing a few races (I did quite often when I was younger.) and trying to beat my Personal Best from way back. At 17 Years old I ran a 10K in 53 minutes. The last 8K race I did a couple of years ago I ran it in 44 minutes. So it's going to take some time building through endurance, strength and mental training. Oh and of course some patience.

pleas wish me luck on my next jurney to running 75 Kilometers for my 51 years alive on this planet. I feel
