I am a father of four and I live in Southampton, UK.

My passions include music (prog-rock, virtuoso keyboardists, electronic music and rock from the 80s/90s) and reading.

I have wide ranging interests in Defence Economics, Aviation, Technology, Education and Charities. I am an avid user of R and LaTeX. I try to stay fit by x-fitting, swimming and cycling.

In life, I make a living as a lecturer in Economics & Finance and as an aviation adviser.

My wife keeps me in touch with reality.
