Giselle Phelps

Giselle Phelps is a broadcast journalist living in Dallas, Texas. She was most recently a general assignment reporter for CW33 News. Giselle worked in Houston back in 2006 as a producer for Fox. She left Texas, and headed to Upstate New York, where she honed her reporting skills. Giselle comes to DFW by way of Buffalo, NY. Giselle was an anchor/reporter for the 24-hour news station YNN. She also spent two years as reporter/videojournalist for News 10 Now in Syracuse, NY. Giselle was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Canada. She graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a B.A. in Journalism. She also studied at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. Giselle started her career in Toronto, as an associate producer for CTV's business channel BNN. Her first media job was for an urban radio station called Flow 93.5 in Toronto. Giselle is a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Association of Black Journalists & National Association of Black Journalists.
