Giuliana Lonigro

Jersey City/New York City

I'm a communications and social media strategist consultant. As Co-editor for the New York Women in Communications Aloud blog, I write about social media (including enterprise social media) and cultural events. Most recently, I wrote for The Melody Book blog and served as social media strategist. Passionate about organic skin care, I am starting my fourth year as an independent founding consultant for NYR Organic.

In 2011, I secured a Google Adwords grant for nonprofits on behalf of the New York chapter of Women in Communication (NYWICI Foundation). I've run three campaigns this year to help raise awareness for the Foundation as I continue to learn about digital marketing for non-profits.

I'm a strategic thinker who enjoys writing and who understands design and branding on a fundamental level, with a healthy appreciation for analytics. My background includes presentation design, print production & design, web design and motion graphics.

I recently earned a Master of Arts in Graphic Communication Management, with distinction from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with honors, from Michigan State University.

I enjoy travel, digital photography, learning new skills and keeping up on current trends in design, branding, social media, digital marketing, and technology.

As a founding senior consultant for NYR Organic, a pioneering thirty year-old British certified organic skin care company, I was asked to present on social media strategy at their national sales conference in Minneapolis in July 2011.
