Glen Gonzalez

An entrepreneur with a diverse background in the advertising, film, publishing, energy, and finance sectors, Glen Gonzalez owns and operates TJG Capital, a private investment trust based in Houston. Educated at the University of Southern California, Glen Gonzalez earned a bachelor’s degree in political science before launching a highly successful career as an advertising executive in New York City. Over the next decade, he worked for such agencies as D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and J. Walter Thompson, where he ran campaigns for Warner-Lambert (now part of Pfizer), Burger King, and Anne Klein, among other major consumer brands. Previously, Mr. Gonzalez also served as an associate producer for the indie drama All Over Me, which Fine Line Features released in 1997.

Following a term as the director of marketing at Us Weekly, Glen Gonzalez moved to Houston and entered the next stage of his career as an oil and gas executive. As the CEO of AGE Refining and AGE Transportation from 2002 to 2010, he led the company through a wide range of market fluctuations, including a peak EBITDA of more than $30 million. After leaving AGE in 2010, Glen Gonzalez established The Tierra Companies, a crude oil service provider. As CEO of the company, he spent the next three years overseeing development of the companies’ various interests in the Eagle Ford Shale and eventually positioning it for sale to TexStar Midstream in 2013. Since then, Mr. Gonzalez has launched TJG Capital, where he manages various private investments.
