Falling Noble is an acoustic rock /folk music duo comprised of Gordon & Georgia Collier. The couple started singing together in their local church in Richmond, VA where they first met and quickly discovered a mutual interest in singing and writing music, drawing on the likes of contemporary artistes such as NeedToBreath, Ray Lamontagne, Mathew Mayfield, Mat Kearney, Indelible Grace, Mumford and Sons, The Civil Wars & other acoustic-based rock and folk music for inspiration and direction. With the help of mutual friends & musicians, a few open mic nights, and a few gigs, Falling Noble is quickly finding its sound.

After years of singing and performing, Georgia’s tender, honest, and spirit-filled vocal lines draw the listener into something more than just a song. Gordon has had a long history of singing, song writing and playing with various bands and musicians (at one time even opening for the award-winning band Third Day in Chicago, IL when he played drums for Richmond artist Harry Gore). From the days of hardcore/punk bands, to his old band Graylynn’s Vine, to “re-tuning” old hymns and leading music at his church, Collier is well-versed in a variety of musical styles. Together Gordon and Georgia try to write music that isn’t over-bearing but is instead thoughtful, honest, meaningful and points to something beautiful and hopeful.
