I’m a virtual “Jackie” of all trades within digital marketing. I’ve held a diverse array of roles: from online advertising sales and agency-side account management to e-commerce and site merchandising. The one common thread is storytelling. I’m a creative people-oriented marketing professional who understands the power of narrative to engage, interpret and drive the bottom line.
With a mix of creativity, people-smarts and tactical expertise, I conceptualize and execute ideas that energize consumers to hit that “buy” button. Retaining some of my girlhood curiosity -- I like to look at every angle of a problem and question assumptions.
I bring a unique multicultural perspective to everything I do. I'm the child of Kenyan immigrants, raised in a diverse community in New Jersey and based in New York City since 2006. In addition to living and studying in South Africa in 2004, I lived and worked in Spain as a TEFL Certified English language teacher and camp counselor from October 2012- December 2013 while my husband completed his MBA in Madrid. During my time in Spain, I used my interpretive skills to thoroughly prepare my students for the global marketplace. My travels have included: Hong Kong, England, Panama, Belize, Portugal, France, Kenya, Holland, South Africa, and all over Spain.
I'm an intermediate Spanish speaker and am working towards gaining full biliingual proficiency. I'm currently dreaming about learning more languages and picking back up my high school French.
