i help people bring big ideas to life.

i co-founded Station Houston, Women In Tech: Houston, and The Houston Innovation Summit ... all to foster innovation by connecting creative problem-solvers, cultivating social ventures, and catalyzing impactful initiatives.

i mentor tech and biotech startups through Station Houston, the Texas Medical Center Accelerator (TMC|X), UH RedLabs and Rice Owlspark.

during Mayor Parker's administration, i advised the City of Houston as a founding member of the Mayor's Innovation and Technology Advisory Committee. (under Mayor Turner, my co-founder JR led the new Innovation and Technology Task Force.)

i speak at conferences and events like SXSW, TEDActive, TEDxSantoDomingo, TEDxSugarLand, TechStreet, HiMA IS Conference, Texas Women's Conference, and diverse business and leadership summits. i love teaching workshops and moderating panels that provide practical insight and actionable frameworks.

i co-curate TEDxHouston, TEDxYouth@Houston, TEDxHoustonLive, TEDxHoustonChange, COHO, CoHouston, Houston Coworking Symposium, and other social good + thought leadership initiatives that facilitate meaningful connection, boost creativity and innovation, and build proactive, problem-solving communities. i won some things for doing this, but i do them more because i love the thinking and the doing.

i love good questions, good causes, good people, good wordplay, and great experiences. i'm passionate about learning things & making stuff & making stuff *happen*.

i'm a fan of the "YES, and...."

i usually don't say "i" this much. unless it's "i love ..." ... because i love a lot.

mostly, i love my family. my friends, my #kittehpotpie, and my partner-in-time, Andrew Karnavas.
