I have enjoyed a 30 year career spanning the education, creative & digital industries consistently building successful organisations that challenge the status quo.
During the past 10 years I've focused on bringing these 3 key sectors together to re-imagine what learning & education can be in an age of ongoing digital transformation. In 2004 I founded Learning Without Frontiers (LWF) - a global platform that brought together thought leaders, innovators & practitioners to take part in probably the most challenging & provocative dialogue about the future of learning. I left LWF in 2013 to pursue new programmes and ideas to transform the way we learn, teach and live.
I was invited by the Qatar Foundation, as part of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), to direct and author Learning {RE}imagined, a global exploration of innovation in learning that took me to 14 countries on 5 continents. Learning {Re}imagined was published by Bloomsbury in 2015.
Today, I work with the leadership teams of private and social enterprises to design and deploy interventions that catalyse rapid idea generation, solution-focused problem solving and collaborative innovation.
I work on the international advisory board for the EMLYON Business School and as a mentor to several international technology start-ups.
I am available for speaking and short to medium term consulting engagements.
I have passionate interests in design, learning, society, innovation, creativity, art, film & pop culture.
I work globally but call London home.
