I'm an intelligence analyst and strategist with a focus on international security, futures analysis, and supply chain risk management. I use wargaming, red-teaming, alternatives analyses, and other innovative methodologies - in addition to traditional research and analysis - to discover overlooked angles and novel ideas.

Much of my career has involved using futures planning and strategic forecasting to imagine and anticipate scenarios, and then to convey those findings. I've written papers and articles ranging from a hypothetical Nazi invasion of Switzerland to the archaeological potential of new land-based missile defense.

My strategic messaging experience encompasses executive communications, influence, information operations, and other ways to tell compelling stories (and to turn complex research into a cohesive, intelligible narrative). I've translated quantitative research into qualitative findings that illuminate issues such as the toll taken on US fuel convoys in a combat zone, or the relative difficulty of pulling off a given cyberattack.

I specialize in complex, in-depth research and analysis, and in converting findings and insights into reports, white papers, and briefings. I've managed large, long-term research projects and multiple workstreams, synthesizing data and intelligence from human and open sources, signals, and imagery. I've handled project management and logistics; performed business development research and proposal writing; and coordinated workshops and field interviews.

I'm particularly intrigued by nuclear weapons, space, political risk, strategic communications, global security, public policy, transportation infrastructure, military history, political economy, and grand strategy.

All views are my own and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of the U.S. Space Force, the Department of Defense, or the U.S. Government.
