Dr. Michael Grandner

Dr. Grandner is a Clinical Psychologist and Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry, and a member of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program, the Center for Sleep and Circadian Neurobiology, and the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics at the University of Pennsylvania.

His research focuses on how sleep is related to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, weight gain, cognitive function, mental health, and longevity. Dr. Grandner bridges population-level and laboratory approaches to develop a real-world understanding of the implications of poor sleep and practical strategies for improving sleep.
