Grecia Muskus

Kyoto, Japan

My name is Grecia Muskus and I am a person with a “diverse” mix of cultures. Being born as a Venezuelan to parents with European heritage gave me the opportunity to experience different cultures at a very young age. I also love challenges as they test what I am capable of.

When I was 17, I moved to Singapore and I was totally blown away by the enormous differences between “that part” of the world and what I had already known. I loved it! And I understood that diversity is a “must” in any situation and allows us to come up with great and creative solutions, while being understanding and respectful to others.

As part of this journey searching for diversity and challenges, I moved to Japan to pursue my MBA. Again, it has been a life changing experience, learning so many things from this culture, personally and professionally.

Along this journey, I have also understood that you need to be true to your values and beliefs and develop what makes you unique in this globalized world. I see myself as an international, challenging and strong woman and being able to use my abilities in today’s business world really motivates me.

I am also very passionate about cycling. It is such a great healthy life style, while you get to go to gorgeous places. A friend and I have a website about cycling in Kyoto. Please visit!
