Greg Young
Dr. Young has a Ph.D from the University of Tennessee. He also has a Masters Degree in Sport Studies from the University of Tennessee and a B.S. in Health and Physical Education - Teacher Education from Berry College, GA. He is currently certified to teach P.E. K-12 in GA.
As a Certified Consultant with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology he has worked with a number of athletes at the professional and intercollegiate level across a variety of sports.
Dr. Young's research is in the area of Psychological Momentum, specifically athlete's experiences of momentum. Dr. Young is also interested in research exploring strategies for maximizing attentional focus, cue selection, and decision-making of sport performers.
Dr. Young has represented Great Britain as a soccer player in the 2003 & 2005 World University Games and continues to compete and coach soccer at the competitive level.
