An experienced administrator within the field of higher education, Greg Jordan most recently served as the president of King University, a Presbyterian, doctoral-level university in Tennessee. Upon his departure, he was awarded the honor of president emeritus of King University. Greg Jordan led the school from late 1997 until early 2014, guiding its growth and development by expanding student access to undergraduate and graduate programs at multiple locations from Bristol TN to Nashville TN. and by developing new academic delivery systems including online.

During his time at the university, Dr. Jordan successfully grew the school’s total assets by nearly 200% between 1997 and 2013, and he increased net tuition revenue by 729% during those same years. Additionally, he led the development of several projects at the institution, including the Learning Commons in Nicewonder Hall, which facilitates the adoption of new instructional technology, and the Student Success Program, which focuses on student career services, internships, and retention.

Dr. Jordan graduated from Hebrew Union College, Jewish Institute of Religion, with his PhD, and from Wake Forest University, Babcock Graduate School of Management, with his MBA. He serves on the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges Peer Review board, and is a former member of both the Kingsport Center for Higher Education Advisory Board and the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association board of directors.
