If written well, a short autobiography ought to be timeless. There is, however, no greater writing challenge than mastering this art.

Initially, I'm tempted to borrow a phrase from the great writer Alain de Botton and tell you that I'm nothing but "a vaporous transient consciousness in an incidental universe." While both philosophical and clever (two things I happen to think I am), that doesn't really tell you much about me.

On the otherhand, if I were to get more explicit, I'd run the risk of defining and confining myself into a blurb that's sure to haunt the future me. For instance, I could tell you that I'm a thinker, writer, photographer, adventurer, traveler, boulevardier, flâneur, bon vivant, cook, and athlete, but that would confine my identity to only the vacuous words I currently find attractive. At the end of the day, it's all just signaling anyway.

So who am I? It's up to you to connect the dots.
