Gregory A Franklin

A graduate of Grinnell College and the Fordham University School of Law, Gregory A. Franklin counsels clients as a partner with Ashcraft Franklin Young & Peters, LLP. Franklin acts on behalf of both birth and adoptive parents and handles the complexities surrounding not only adoption of children in the United States, but also adoption of international children. Over the course of his career, Gregory A. Franklin has navigated countless appellate and trial procedures in such matters and provided representation to families in excess of 1,900 adoption cases, nearly 300 of which have been on an international level.

Highly active in the legal community, Gregory A. Franklin holds membership in several groups, among them the American Academy of Assisted Reproduction Technology Attorneys and the New York State Bar Association's Adoption Subcommittee. Moreover, he formerly chaired the New York State Division of Human Rights' Regional Advisory Council. He has earned the designation as a New York Super Lawyer in multiple years. Also a supporter of his local community, he contributes time and resources to the Volunteer Legal Services Project and the Hillside Children's Center.
