Gerald R. Lucas is an academic, blogger, runner, cyclist, photographer, writer, husband, and iconoclast. He works as an Associate Professor of English at a college in central Georgia teaching technocultural studies. His official areas of expertise are speculative fiction, computer-assisted pedagogy, epic poetry, literary theory, and modernism. Jerry earned his Ph.D. in 2002, makes homemade pizza, and likes to take photos in his spare time.
