I come to user research with a social psychology background. Prior to design research, I worked in jury consulting - I researched juror attitudes to help improve case strategy. I organized mock trials and then created plaintiff/defense juror profiles to use during jury selection.

Now I research how to make people's work lives better, how to change the way we work, and how to help organizations work openly. I tackle big problems like how to help users feel empowered and productive at work. Prior to Yammer, I studied women's online shoe purchasing habits with the startup, Shoefitr.

In my spare time, I hang out with my pit bull, work on my cross stitching, and watch bad movies.
