Gulamnabi Vahora

Throughout his career in medicine, Dr. Gulamnabi Vahora has demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of care center operations as well as the disciplines of pathology, microbiology, and biochemistry. A graduate of the University of CETEC Medical College in the Dominican Republic, he relocated to the United States in the mid-1980s and earned a PhD in microbiology from Utah State University. Dr. Gulamnabi Vahora has since relocated to Pennsylvania’s Delaware Valley, where he has held high-level administrative positions with a number of hospitals and medical centers in and around Philadelphia.

Currently the medical director of International Medical Systems, Inc., Dr. Gulamnabi Vahora is also the founder and president of the American Vahora Association and the Vahora Institute for International Excellence (VIIE). In 2011, he led VIIE in opening a child development center, a youth center, and a primary care clinic in the city of Mahemdabad, India, where VIIE strives to empower women and children. Dr. Gulamnabi Vahora also supports a number of other educational and outreach organizations, including the United Way of America, and hopes to one day establish a free teaching clinic in India for underserved families and individuals.
