Hadi Daneshvar

Sayed Hadi Daneshvar Farzanegan is a PhD Candidate at the School of Informatics, The University of Edinburgh. He is also member of the Laboratory for Foundation of Computer Science (LFCS). He is currently working on his PhD thesis entitled “Social media in health and care coproduction”, which focuses on the application of information systems and social media in health. His current research project, investigates the use of social media to enable coproduction in health and care for elderly people. To achieve this, he investigates the current and possible future uses of social media as an enabler of coproduction. His project is closely related to some of the leading projects in Scotland Telecare and Telehealth aiming at facilitating independent life for aged people. He also worked on Information/knowledge sharing in online environments for collaborative work purposes, knowledge management, social computing/media, and online collaboration. He also has interest and experience in socio-technical systems.
Hadi holds an MSc in Business Information Technology from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland in 2012, and a degree in Information Systems form Heriot-Watt University in 2010. He also did his undergraduate studies in Software.
