Haifaa Aziz
Communication Director in Sudan, Khartoum
Almost 25years old, lived all my life in Khartoum, capital city of Sudan. I love to connectwith people and act socially, I’m the kind of people who put other’s feelings on top oftheirs, but I rarely regret it because serving others is what makes me feel human.
Entrepreneurship is what my life revolves around sincethe last year (2014). It all started when I joined a group of talented, passionate driven entrepreneurship promoters called IEC (innovation and Entrepreneurship Community)who work sopassionately towards raising the sense of independence in the Sudanese societyby spreading and teaching the key concepts or factors that make greatentrepreneurs through training programs, global as well as locally organizedevents.
The first time I joined this community as volunteer toorganize the first ever made Startup Weekendin Khartoum city and it was a great success.Later, I joined the core team.
Our dreams areso big, our will is so strong and our bond is solid that we believe we’ll achieveeverything we imagine.
I owe them somuch because they show me really what passion means, and how it works.
I have so manydreams that I barely talk about since am very private kind of persons; I’m actuallynot sure whether one life is enough to make them all true. The very dear one tome is to make enough money to travel the world to help those kids in need, helpthem get proper education, play with them in the mud and get dirty, ride ourbicycles and race, dance and act silly in the beach, fall asleep together, carry them in my back and kiss them good night and tell them that they areimportant and the world does revolve around them.
Another causethat I lately started working on, or writing about to be more specific, is thecultural bias towards extroverts, I try to showcase the strength and weaknesspoints of introversion, what introverts like, what they hate, how an extravertshould act with introverts, how they function and so, in hope to help introvertsto accept their introversion, all this by outlining some facts, experiences andpersonal stories in Arabic on my Facebook profile to let my introvert friendsknow they’re not alone.
Thank youfor taking the time to read through my story, glad to have you here. If you’re interested to befriend me please add me on Facebook & Twiter
