I am Håkan Dahlström, a photographer living in Malmö, Sweden. My photoblog is my primary portfolio where I showcase a wide array of my photographs, with the majority from my world in picturesque southern Sweden. Today I specialize in photographing the environment as it appears naturally all around me. I work to capture my images in a compelling way — to make them significantly more interesting and inspiring than they appear through the naked eye. I strive to transform a common moment into an extraordinary moment as well as to freeze the extraordinary moments, all to evoke a range of feelings in me and in you. I have been working as a photographer since the mid 1980′s, shooting across most disciplines over time. Starting with news and sports photography and moving into my present style, I have published over 30,000 photographs. All of these photographs are available for licensing — from hanging them on your wall to publishing them in your book, and every medium in between. Please contact me for further information. If you would like to see more of my photographs, please visit my photostream at Flickr where I publish everything. Use the search feature to find specific subject matter, and you will find that using the organizational Collections and Sets that I have created to showcase related photographs very useful. Using these tools will make your viewing more enjoyable. I have been published in several publications around the world. Photographers whose images have inspired my style include W. Eugene Smith, Ernst Haas, Steve McCurry, Elliott Erwitt, Harry Gruyaert, Irving Penn, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Ansel Adams to name a few.
