H. Alan Scott

Los Angeles

I'm a writer/comedian based in LA and NYC. My work has been featured on the Huffington Post, Thought Catalog, xoJane.com, MTV, Logo, Splitsider, The Advocate Magazine, Somecards.com, OUT, Sirius XM Radio, CNN, and my Mom's refrigerator.

I create funny things over on Fusion's "No You Shut Up," hosted by Paul F. Tompkins and produced by the Jim Henson Company.

Oprah said my name.

In 2012 I got cancer. I tweeted/blogged about it with #Chemocation for various media outlets. Currently being made into a book. Represented by Mendel Media Group, LLC.

My career focus is to provide an alternative voice within the comedy and social media communities and outlets by producing original and engaging content. I'm a freelance writer, comedian, and consultant for those seeking words/content managers for their media needs. Basically the internet and I are very close.

My goal is to get somebody to create a Wikipedia page for me in 2015.
