Halie Breninger

I am a Career Center Specialist at The University of Kansas Career Center. I work at the front desk greeting guest who stop into our office, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments for our Career Coaches. In addition to our receptionist duties, I review resumes submitted to the Resume Dropbox and post job openings in KU Career Connections. I love working at the Career Center because everyday is something different and I get to interact with some amazing people!

While at The University of Kansas I am pursing a degree in Nursing. I hope to someday open up my own pediatric office as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Working with children since I was young and volunteering at a children's hospital, I have found that I can combine my love for helping others with my compassion for children as a pediatric nurse!

Since I was young, I have participated in both competitive gymnastics, cheerleading, and soccer as well as many clubs and activities. I have found that I am the type of person who likes to be going all the time, so I like to pack my schedule full with school, work, family, and friends. I love being outside and especially love to roller blade! I also am an active member in my sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. In the rare instance that I do have time to relax, I enjoy snuggling with my puppy, Harley, or shopping (I am a shoe fanatic)!
