After studying for a Degree in Computer Engineering, I've spent the last 10 years working in various system administration positions. Currently I'm working as Pre-Sales engineer in Solarwinds, based in Cork, Ireland. And in the next few months I'll have finished my Masters in Cloud Computing.

Outside of work, when I'm not cycling or golfing, I'll generally be found working on some blog or another (either one of my own, or the odd contribution to Gear Patrol) , or in the kitchen, cooking, eating or drinking.
