Dr Hamish Campbell is the Deputy Head of Research at MS Australia. He previously was a medical researcher at the Children's Medical Research Institute (http://www.cmri.org.au) in Sydney, Australia, and a lecturer at the University of Sydney. He has also worked as a Data Science instructor at General Assembly.
Hamish has extensive community involvement; back in 2015, he founded Rhodes parkrun (a free 5km run, https://www.parkrun.com.au/rhodes/), which has now had over 80,000 finishers. Early in the COVID19 pandemic, he set up a virtual 5km run to help the community during uncertainty. Before the pandemic, he had co-founded a social enterprise to encourage physical activity.
He is a president of a local Rotary Club and has been involved in several projects, including spearheading the delivery of a second-hand ambulance to Tonga
