Hi, thanks for visiting my page. I am happy to share a bird's eye view into my world and story. I am Melvin Clifton; from and living in the British Virgin Islands and I am happy to share with you a little about you. Since in my early teens I liked the idea of entrepreneurship which came about as a result of often playing "Monopoly", the popular real estate board game with an older cousin and neighbor. who it seems liked inviting me over to his home for a game or two, which sometimes got me in trouble with my mother for leaving my baby sister asleep alone while she would be at work.

After completing my studies, my mother a teacher but working in tourism at an upscale resort since it was more lucrative than teaching was quick to arrange an interview for me and my first job. The marriage had been rocky and she needed the help. That was my induction into the tourism industry and was also about the time that tourism began to flourish in the Virgin Islands. With more hotels and yacht charter companies coming on stream it also meant working in various departments of the resorts; (food and beverage, front desk, working in the marinas etc.

Fast forward to 1990 while living in California's Bay Area, working in the restaurant and entertainment space, I was contacted by the British Virgin Islands tourism department and offered the position of West Coast regional manager; indeed a pretty cool position; for it entailed the tourism San Francisco office and marketing activities, traveling throughout west coast states and Canada, marketing and promoting the British Virgins as a preferred vacation destination; something and something of natural beauty and experiences that would be cherished. It also meant working to create jobs, enrichment and quality of life for a deserving people.

Returning to the Virgin Islands in 93, I have since ventured into real estate auto sales, and insurance.

In 2009 and 2011 respectively, I developed an interest in health and wellness, (science based, Glutathione-enhancing supplements ) and precious metals, (Karatbars gold, crypto/voice over block-chain communication) and passionately marketing both; Max International and Karatbars International.

With the internet in full bloom and evolving into internet 3.0 (or blockchain everything), the opportunities and excitement in sales and marketing has never been this optimistic and exciting. Please Join me!
