Carol Hartsell is a Digital Producer at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Prior to that she was the Web Producer for Internet Action Force, and the Senior Comedy Editor of Huffington Post.

She has contributed to Someecards and The Onion, written for "Viewpoint With John Fugelsang", "The Roast Of Anthony Bourdain," and wrote and performed in the Off-Broadway show Shoot The Messenger alongside 'Daily Show' co-creator Lizz Winstead. She was also the Director of Programming and Video Production for Comix comedy club, as well as the founder of humor Web site drinkatwork.com.

Originally from Alabama, she lives in New York with her writing/life partner Sean, their dogs Fenny and Brooks, and their cats Graham and Dr. Girlfriend. She likes Edgar Wright movies, gardening and otters, and she never quite got over that scene in The Hitcher.
